Masterclass ‘Nerikomi & Agateware’ with Sam Andrew – 5, 6 & 7 juni ’26
450,-

This handbuilding workshop is scheduled on 5,6 and 7th of June from 10am to 16pm. This workshop is given in English.
Knowledge of clay is an advantage.
Course Overview
Nerikomi or agateware are coloured clay techniques where the movement of clay is captured within the ceramic body. You can knead, layer, cut and combine pieces to create intricate patterns. In this workshop you’ll learn how to colour clay and prepare blocks and canes to create your pieces from. Then you’ll press-mould your creations into tableware. You’ll come away with the knowledge of how to avoid the common pitfalls that result from the many joins within your work. We’ll also create some pieces using the inlay technique.
